NOTICE FOR LANDLORDS PARTICIPATING IN THA’S RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
On April 7, 2017, we informed participating landlords by email or letter that THA was about to adopt a new software system called Open Door. We were concerned because new software systems often present challenges. Unfortunately, some delays did occur with electronic payments to our landlords in May, June and July.
We’ve worked hard to ensure that this problem will not occur in August. However, we have already been made aware of a few issues and are working hard to fix them. If you experienced a delay or error in payment on August 1st, please let us know. Jessie Beck is one of our Rental Assistance Program Managers. We thank you for your patience. We know that our participating landlords are vitally important to the safety, stability and success of the households we serve in Tacoma. We also understand that you need high quality service from us. We are trying hard to provide it. You can help us by letting us know when something does not work for you.
