As part of the strategic plan to end homelessness in Pierce County and design a “best practice” model to prevent homelessness, Associated Ministries had contracted with Pierce County to provide a centralized intake center for homeless individuals and families and those in imminent risk of becoming homeless. This program is known as Access Point 4 Housing (AP4H).
As part of AP4H coordinated entry, a Housing Specialist will work one on one with individuals to enable stability. Services will include, but are not limited to, referrals to housing programs or independent housing and assistance/referrals in securing benefits.
