Client Support & Empowerment
The Department of Client Support & Empowerment is responsible for designing, providing and evaluating an array of human services. These services include the following:
Case management services - We provide services to help families succeed as tenants in our housing programs, to recover from homelessness, domestic violence or other trauma and to stabilize families. To this end, we seek to provide holistic case management. We do so in partnership with a wide variety of service partners.
- Programs to help families prosper - We provide services to help families prosper. These include programs to help clients further their education, find employment or increase their earnings, Individual Development Accounts that match a family's savings, driver's license reinstatement programs, citizenship classes and English instruction.
We seek to provide our services near our clients. In many cases, our services are within walking distance of our properties. We can do this because we have our own classrooms and community spaces within our properties.
